55th Annual Harmony Humanitarian Awards Dinner
Harmony honors leaders who have committed themselves to celebrating diversity and multiculturalism in the community. On September 25th, Sandra Lawrence, Peter Levi and Mahnaz Shabbir will join a distinguished list of former award recpients including Harry S. Truman, Walter Cronkite and Ewing Kauffman. Business & Community Roundtable
Diversity and Inclusion--Making it our Business. This event will be hosted at Rockhurst University on July 11, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Participants will focus on major componets for successful diversity initiatives, and engage with guest speaker Fran Stowell. Cultural Awareness Workshop, hosted at Pioneer Campus on July 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This workshop is a non-confrontational, interactive experience desogned to encourage participants to explore the power that diversity offers to our workplace and community. Interfaith Choir Concert
An annual celebration of interfaith cooperation. Diverse voices from various faiths celebrate in song! To join or listen in contact Skip Schrock at (816) 333-5059. The even is a glorious demonstration of tolerance and understanding in action--don't miss it!

Martin Luther King Youth Day Celebration, Annual Multicultural Arts Extravaganza (for youth k-12 )
This celebration brings together youth from across the metro area, and across racial, economic, faith and geographic lines to experience Kansas City’s most unique multicultural arts event.

Harmony Spring Luncheon
This annual event brings together business and community leaders in support of Harmony’s mission.  Engaging keynote speakers share insights from their experiences in building inclusive community. Come for education, inspiration, and motivation!
