Harmony Staff
Carol J. Suter, President,
is a nationally known non-profit leader, speaker, and facilitator. She has
served local, national, and international organizations as an executive,
a consultant and a board member. Prior to her career in the non-profit sector,
Carol was a practicing attorney with expertise in employment and labor law.
In both her professional and volunteer lives, Carol has been dedicated to
the pursuit of equality and justice for all. In her free time, she loves
to travel, remodel houses, and spend time with her family.
Darryck Dean, Vice President,
is an experienced educator, consultant and mediator. He has earned a bachelors degree in economics and a masters in business administration. Darryck has assisted hundreds of workplaces and communities to address issues of diversity and inclusion. Active in the Kansas City community, Darryck has served on several boards, commissions and task forces. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and their dog, Denmark.
Emily Siedlik, Program Specialist,
is a proud product of Harmony’s youth programs (Anytown 99!). She now manages Harmony’s in-school and on-campus programs and the Diversity Roundtable, and assists in other programs as well. Emily earned her BA in French from Loyola University Chicago and has studied photography at the Kansas City Art Institute. She loves to travel and has spent time exploring, studying and volunteering in Thailand, France, Egypt, Ireland, China and Nepal.
Andrea Pantoja, Program Specialist,
is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BA in Applied Behavioral Sciences. She is working toward a Masters in Social Work at UMKC. Andrea manages the Youth Leadership Institute and is a facilitator for in-school and on-campus programs. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys participating in community service through Big Brothers Big Sisters, trying new ethnic foods and cheering on her Jayhawks!
Skip Schrock, Office Manager,
joined Harmony in 2007. He brings to Harmony a wide variety of experiences in public education, state and federal government, as well as the nonprofit sector. Assignments in Jefferson City, Kansas City and Washington, DC have enriched his life and heightened his appreciation of the positive effects of harmonious community. Skip’s life-long love of music has provided numerous opportunities to tour the US, Canada and Europe. He currently is a member of the Kansas City Wind Symphony and assists with the conducting of Mid America Freedom Band.
